BEYOND THE OBVIOUS | Abstract Paintings by Michelle O’Connor

Michelle is drawn to abstract expressionism and is inspired by color, texture, layers, linework, and compelling composition. Her self-driven creative adventure has led her to a powerful path of expressing and balancing themes such as emotion and movement, chaos and order, play and design, humor and the shared human experience in her multifaceted paintings.

Says Michelle: “Mine is an organic process where intuition and intentionality work hand in hand. Characterized by rich and dynamic layers, each piece begins with intuitive play and builds towards a final stage where everything finds coherence through clarity of design. Collage elements and linework add an intriguing dimension, inviting viewers to explore each layer and detail in depth.”
