“I've always been passionate about making art and especially about painting in the last 20 years.  Drawing was the beginning and now using paint adds another dimension with color. Choosing a subject is significant and often illusive.  It's a great thing when I can find that and capture the scene or person on canvas in a way that is pleasing to me and the viewer.  I love to hear it said " I want to be there" when someone looks at one of my landscapes.  Sharing what I feel is peaceful and beautiful is really the most satisfying part of painting.” — Susan Schneider
